This Privacy Policy explains how NekoPick ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use nekopick.shop (the "Site") and related pages, including our admin area at /admin.

• We don't offer user accounts to visitors; the admin area requires Google sign‑in for the site owner.
• We use affiliate links (e.g., to Shopee). Clicks redirect you to the merchant's site.
• Basic analytics and cookies may be used to improve the Site.
• We may integrate with Facebook for social sharing and posting features.

2) Information we collect

When you browse the public Site, we generally collect minimal information:

• Device & usage data: anonymized or aggregated data such as pages viewed, referrers, approximate location, and basic device info (depending on our hosting/analytics provider).
• Cookies: used for essential Site features and optional analytics.
• Outbound links: when you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to a merchant (e.g., Shopee). The merchant's own privacy policy applies there.

If you contact us (e.g., by email), we will receive the information you provide.

3) Admin area & integrations

• Admin sign‑in: The admin dashboard uses Google Authentication (Firebase Auth) for the site owner. Google may receive sign‑in related data; see Google's privacy policy.
• Content database: Product metadata (title, image URL, price, etc.) is stored in Firebase Firestore. This does not include visitor PII.
• Pinterest API (optional): If connected, we store the access token securely in our backend (e.g., serverless functions) to allow the site owner to publish Pins. This token is used only to perform actions requested by the owner (e.g., create Pins) and can be revoked at any time in Pinterest account settings.

4) Facebook Integration

When you connect your Facebook account to NekoPick (for admin users), we may collect and use:

• Facebook Profile Information: Your public profile information including name and profile picture when you authenticate with Facebook.
• Facebook Pages Access: Information about Facebook Pages you manage, only if you grant permission for page management features.
• Access Tokens: Secure tokens that allow us to post content to your Facebook Pages on your behalf, only when explicitly authorized by you.
• Post Data: Content that you choose to share to Facebook through our platform, including product recommendations and related text/images.

How We Use Facebook Data:

• Enable you to post product recommendations to your Facebook Pages
• Provide social sharing functionality
• Authenticate your admin access to posting features
• Maintain connection status between NekoPick and your Facebook account

Facebook Data Retention and Deletion:

• Facebook access tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time
• You can disconnect your Facebook account from NekoPick at any time through your account settings
• When you disconnect, we immediately delete your Facebook access tokens and related data
• You can also remove NekoPick from your Facebook account through Facebook's Apps and Websites settings
• We comply with Facebook's Platform Policy and Data Use Policy

5) How we use information

• Operate and maintain the Site.
• Analyze traffic to improve content and layout.
• Measure performance of affiliate links.
• Prevent abuse and ensure security.
• Enable social sharing and Facebook posting features.

6) How we share information

We may share limited data with service providers solely to operate the Site:

• Hosting/CDN: Netlify or similar hosts that serve our pages.
• Database & auth: Firebase (Google Cloud) for content storage and owner sign‑in.
• Merchants & affiliate networks: When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (e.g., Shopee) may set its own cookies and collect data per their policies.
• Analytics: If enabled, privacy‑respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage.
• Facebook Platform: When you use Facebook integration features, data is shared with Facebook according to their Platform Policy and your permissions.

7) Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, localStorage, or similar tech to remember preferences and measure performance. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features.

8) Your choices

• You may block cookies in your browser.
• You may contact us to request access to or deletion of any personal data you voluntarily provided to us.
• To stop affiliate tracking on merchant sites, adjust settings or use privacy tools per those sites' policies.
• You can disconnect your Facebook account and revoke permissions at any time through your account settings or Facebook's Apps and Websites settings.
• You can request deletion of your Facebook-related data by contacting us at hello@nekopick.shop.

9) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Facebook access tokens are stored securely and encrypted.

10) Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
